On 16 January 2019, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner hosted a seminar on Legal Technology Innovations to members of the ACC Hong Kong. Speakers Neville Eisenberg and Bruce Braude drawing on their experience of working with clients in the UK and US explored some of the approaches and technologies that are being increasingly adopted by General Counsel.
Opening by introducing the current legal landscape the speakers discussed what are the key priorities for in house teams, the growing adoption of legal technology and the core importance of data analytics. The sessions closed with two real life case studies taken from Cantilever, BCLP’s new consulting service which provides services for contract systems, technology, legal operations and litigation management along with document and decision-making automation applications.
