Doing business in mainland China under the latest cybersecurity and data protection laws

The seminar on 5 September, presented by Helen Liao, senior associate with Deacons, discussed the key changes of China employment authorisation rules and what MNCs should do to get prepared for these changes. The presentation included case studies and addressed the following hot issues, including the timing to commence an employment/secondment relationship with a foreigner, termination conditions, open-term contract, social insurance payment, hiring foreigninterns, labour dispatch through work agencies and inter-regional mobilities.
