Following the success of our August Pro Bono Summit “Models for Action” event, your ACC HK Pro Bono Committee is delighted to invite you to an exclusive Members Networking Night, showcasing a number of non-profit organisations who require pro bono assistance.

Our Networking Night will introduce you to some Hong Kong not-for-profit organisations whose vital work eases the lives of Hong Kong’s underprivileged. Following a series of short presentations, there will also be an opportunity to speak directly with the non-profit representatives about ways you can help, and network with like-minded colleagues who are interested in giving back to our community.

Featured non-profit organisations will include The Hong Kong Centre for Pro Bono Service; HER Fund; Justice Centre, PILnet, Liberty Shared and others.

Date: Thursday, 17 October 2019
Time: 6:45 pm for 7:00 pm start until 9:00 pm
The presentation session will be followed by casual networking drinks and canapes
Venue: Café 8, Rooftop of the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, Pier 8, Central
A social enterprise in a brilliant harbour side location: http://www.cafe8.org/about.html

Please note that due to venue size, registration is limited to 50 members on a first-come first-served basis.  We will run a waiting list if we are oversubscribed. There is no cost for ACC HK members to attend this event.

Don’t forget to check out our ACC Hong Kong Guide for In-house Counsel on Pro bono Legal Work, published with the support of DLA Piper Hong Kong, where we outlined how in-house counsel can participate on a pro bono basis in our Hong Kong community and included information from non-profits regarding their needs for pro bono legal support. See our ACC HK website https://www.hkcca.net/home

We look forward to seeing you soon.
