On 13th June 2019, Deminor Recovery Services hosted an event hosted a seminar with Olivia de Patoul as the speaker on the topic "How to recover economic losses suffered on an investment in case of fraud, misleading information or mismanagement and transform legal claims into valuable economic assets". This event was very popular and another date will be rescheduled for later this year.
Mintz Group and ACC Hong Kong co-hosted a seminar on 16 May 2019. Jingyi Blank, Managing Director and Head of Hong Kong, presented an overview on brand protection, anti-counterfeiting and grey marketing. Well-known brands have long been subjected to fraudulent reproduction and counterfeiting, particularly in Asia. Jingyi discussed strategies involved in anti-counterfeiting investigations and shared recent case studies and practical suggestions on how brands can protect themselves.

On 23 May 2019, ACC Hong Kong and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati LLP (Beijing Office) co-hosted a seminar on practical tips for IP and Trade Secret issues in China in an international context. Richard Wang invented and presented a practical way of thinking to navigate through various IP and trade secret issues, and an overview of the updated trade secret law as well as its potential impact on future practice of trade secret litigation.
On 30 April 2019, ACC Hong Kong and Linklaters co-hosted a seminar on practical tips for handling investigations by the Hong Kong Competition Commission. Marcus Pollard presented an overview of the competition regulator’s enforcement in the past three years and offered practical tips on managing enforcement risks and handling competition law investigations.
